Mostly run and paint… sometimes eat and drink, if the resources are available (Which is not often). There’s a lot to explore, even if most of it looks all the same. There’s a lot of secrets in Aperture to discover.
If there are sweet ones out there, I’ve never met them. They all seem to have something up their sleeves - metaphorically speaking, of course.
I just don’t trust any of them, is all.
I would apologize. Definitely.
I’m so sorry for everything that’s happened. Everything that shouldn’t have happened.
Unfortunately, Caroline was already dead by the time I started working at Aperture. They had already backed up all her memories, thought patterns, personality quirks, and anything else they could get onto hundreds of discs that they kept in a top secret room until they got GLaDOS up and running…
I’m not even sure if they needed that many discs, but I never thought to ask. I never really wanted to know. The thought of a living person being reduced to a disjointed and disarrayed pile of CDs is kind of a sickening thought.
I actually don’t know that much about Wheatley. I didn’t work with the cores too much. Usually I only went there when Henry or another coworker needed help (Which, admittedly, was… often). Otherwise I stayed in my own department working on the Aperture Image Format.
I do know Wheatley’s an idiot, though. But then I guess that’s common knowledge. It is his defining feature, after all.
